When I was younger I was always the girl who brought my camera to a party. I loved looking at the photos the next day with friends and reminiscing about the evening’s antics… then years later discovering those same photographs and remembering those moments so clearly. Photography was something I loved doing but I always assumed it would remain a hobby and a passion rather than a career path.
When I left school, I spent three incredible years studying Drama at Exeter University. I loved my course and met some brilliant people along the way. My camera was always with me and I have some fantastic photographs from my time in Exeter, which I will always treasure.
Having graduated, I spent a year in Advertising and PR but didn’t quite find the job that made me tick. So I decided to follow my heart and applied to study a Masters in Photography at Kingston University.
I haven’t looked back. Each day I pick up my camera and love the challenge of a new project. No two events are ever the same and I get a thrill from trying to capture the spirit and atmosphere of each event.
I have an interest and love of people… and of parties! I think that’s why, with a camera in my hand, I pick up emotions, moments and stories.
I love what I do, and I try to bring a relaxed, fun but highly professional atmosphere to every photographic assignment.
