Jack and Cecilia’s wedding was held in the garden of the house that Jack had grown up in as a child. The service was held outside in a beautiful spot in front of a lake. There was no back up plan for bad weather, so I kept my fingers firmly crossed that the sun would shine down on their wedding day. All morning dark ominous clouds lurked in the distance, it didn’t look good. Just as Cecilia walked down the aisle it suddenly looked like it was going to pour with rain. I couldn’t believe it. It began to spit and we all tried to pretend we hadn’t felt it. Then miraculously after a dodgy minute the dark clouds disappeared and the most beautiful sunshine shone down upon Jack and Cecilia as they exchanged their vows. The service was followed by drinks in the garden and dinner and dancing in a marquee that Jack and Cecilia had decorated themselves.
